this is a replay from a performance shop that dyno test staff.
For the most part a SE backer with a zippers filter is the cost effective set up and will handle every bit of 140 hp. We just tested a se with the new style filter vs a zippers on a 03 dyna. It made 102 hp & 110 tq, swapped the filter 107/113. No filter at all and same power as with zippers filter.

I've got one...works great and not too flashy if you get the right cover.

I have one on my Street Bob. All of the parts seemed to be top quality. The guy in this area who is supposed to be the "top guy" for tuning bikes talked me into it. I had actually went in to buy a SE (which he also had on the shelf for more money).

I believe they come in 2 widths.

There are some that make more power but where are they making it? all on the top end and how often do you run there? get what ever looks and or sounds better to you, you will not be able to tell much when you ride it.

I am running the Zipper's filter "upgrade" element on my 2010 Street Glide stage II 103. I am using the filter with an SE backing plate with the stock football over it. Filter is about 3/4 of an inch thicker than the SE filter. Works very well.
