The thing I don't get is when Harley comes out with something newer and different looking they get rid of it. I wasn't really a fan of the rocker, but it was different for Harley to put that out. Also, I love the nightrain and crossbones....I guess the only newer model bike they kept was the VROD (Which I'm also not a fan of), wonder how long it will take for them to get rid of that too...

 

I think the Vrod survives because Harley is trying to diversify the market, and with the Buell in moratorium, the rod is HD's only bike aimed at that type consumer.

Now that the Rocker and Crossbones are retired, we can put the still active Blackline in the softail thread header.

 

Deluxe or SuperGlide Custom. Maybe Heritage if they threw in a free bar swap. RoadKing would be first choice but for me, the TBW eliminates it entirely. Don't like that thing.

I think they should bring back the Softail Custom since they let the Rocker die. I wasn't a fan of the Rocker.

 

If I had to buy a new bike, Id get an SG or RG. But Id still ride the rocker like I stole it!
