Man, I know I've got it bad...ever since I received my exhaust those black hanger brackets that are nearly 2 feet long have been driving me nuts. All along I've thought about sending them out for chrome, but we know how that always turns into weeks and weeks of waiting. When I was leaving work today I got an idea to call Samson directly and see if they might have brackets already in chrome! Damn, bingo! Just shipped my new ones back to exchange for a small fee to get chrome brackets! It's the little things...lol But with the chrome swingarm and beautiful 39" Cholos laid out in chrome, no way could we keep black brackets.

My foot controls arrived from J&P Cycles, I think that is who it was that I ended up ordering those from. So I have something to install tonight and hopefully I'm going to be happy, but my sneak peak into the box, not real sure I'm happy with the damn heel-toe shifter arms. They look as skinny as damn tooth picks and for $80 each, thinking I'm not going to be happy with them, especially after having and returning the Arlen Ness Retro ones I had that wouldn't work.

PM Contours are $149 on eBay for the heel toe...I think the PM brake pedal isn't bad but don't feel like you cant mix and match a little (within reason). Hell, you cant see both sides of the bike at the same time anyway.

Detroit, I hear ya...I'm making this way more complicated and **** than necessary and this ***** killin me! lol I'm getting ready to out in the garage and check them out. Maybe it was as bad as I thought...but we'll see. If they were as thin as I think, they just won't be proportional with the boards and bike in general.

Also today, tried to get the kickstand bent a little to accommodate the 2" front drop. We squeezed about 3/16" into it without heating it up, but we screwed up the handle on the guys pipe bender. LOL But I'm thinking it might be good and if not we'll work on it another day.

Yeah, you are just trying to pad the post count in this thread! lol

You got less than a month till spring, if you arent on the road you are going to be missing out bro...Im doing one more thing when I get my bike back from the motor work, then Im going to wash it and ride it for a month or two without doing another damn thing but put gas in it.

Im out of mods anyway, I couldn't find chrome tires...

Its ok, I dont think Dean & Pooch even read other threads anymore...lol

Im getting a 98 big bore kit and cams with a dyno tune.

It was time, all that chrome was weighing the bike down...I had to kick off at stops just to get it going again
