got the bonz in my buddys garage slowly getting some mods done..
14" Road 6 Bars w/ brass inserts
Pyle 600 Watt Speakers
Custom Sissy bar w. backrest
Custom Brass Knuckle Highway Pegs Still Need to Fabricate as well as passanger knuckle pegs..
Will be drilling holes in the exhaust heat shields as well as the sissy bar and whatever else i can drill holes into to give the M16/AR15 heat shield appearance!
Before I get hell about the WHITE ZIP TIES< THEY ARE JUST TEMPORARY!

 

nice job, looking good. I still can't bring myself to mount any speakers

 

Plenty more to do...Ill post up some better quality pix a bit later! Bike is a mess as we speak..

As for the speakers, they are so damn small its hard to tell they are even there..I hope they work out!

 

UPDATE!

Obviously not finished, but wanted to put up some progress pix..drilled heat shields..will be gold with black exhaust underneath..

As you can see, going for the m16 heat shield type of look..gonna stick with the theme

 

Looks like a good way to disipate the heat for the exhaust lol, looks good so far

 

I am sure my legs will be feeling the heat!

 

Progress Update: Fabbed up the Brass Knuckle Highway Pegs (guess taths what we will call them) Mached up but no where near complete..Still have to dril holes in the mount, paint/powdercoat etc....Also, teh stock rubber plates taht go in the floor boards will fit back in without a problem!

Didnt really want a mustache bar or crashbars, so came up with this idea. Floorboards already had 2 holes predrilled..seem to be very strong and comfortable...

Hear ya go..Mounted under the floor boards...Easy to remove as well..2 bolts!
Obviously the finish products of all the mods will hopefull make everything pop...Went with square tubing to match the sissy bar as well..



They look a bit crooked here, which they WHERE..but it was corrected..didnt take into account the angle on the floorboards when making the mounts!

Speakers look like gauges (which is cool). Good luck with the mods!

 

Those Highway pegs are an awesome idea and I think some members might steal that idea lol you should patent it ha ha Great job hope the pads attach nicely for you

 

thanks...they were not that bad to build..thats why i shared the pix...my buddy and i may do a few for some people here and there... they should be pretty much universal as long as the floorbards where the same..we have even figured an idea as to making them adjustable, and have a guideline to follow as to how tall u are or just to mount them at a different length! like 5'6"-5"9 6'- 6'3" yada etc..
