i got a chance to get a complete set of fenders and tank from a 03 anniversary edition fatboy, but was wandering if that rear fender would just bolt right on to my 2000 fatboy, or will i need to try and find the rear chrome struts for a 03?

Yes it will, just remember the tank may be for fuel injection and if so will require a block off plate. Use Ronnie' micro fiche for part inquiries.

i was worried my 2000 struts may not work, or i may need some little pieces here and there

 

I applied custom paint to a set of 2000 FLSTF tins last April. Upon fitting to my 04' FLSTF, two of the rear strut mounting holes on each fender side required enlarging. Easily performed with a Dremel tool.
