Shifting problems
#21
No luck so far... ive tried adjusting every possible way I can... the clutch adjustment and also the pressure plate, replacing the throwout bearing and also the clutch cable. I gave up and took it into the shop yesterday and told my mechanic what was up and he immediatly said throwout bearing! I told him I already replaced it, so then he was scratching his head. He is gonna have a looksee... probly wont be till next week tho.
What tranny oil are you using?

While HD oil is sufficient, may I suggest, Red Line Heavy Shock, you will notice a difference.

fluid kind and level was my problem, i couldn't find neutral and constant clunking and whining,
i can only run the cheap harley brand primary fluid, and overfill it just a little bit,,,,,
anything else, mine shifts like crap.... i tried it all,,,,, and i have a se compensator, se clutch, all new,, and others have had the same issue,, after i overfilled it 1/4 qt, it all went away.... so total i used about 1 1/4 qt.,, no guarantee it will work for you though..
