Default Throttle Grip

I’ve got a 2011 Softail Heritage, and I noticed that the throttle grip is a little lose, meaning I can move it a little to the left and right, not far, but a slight give. The throttle itself is fine; I have no problems with acceleration. Is this give normal? If not, please give me any recommendations of fixing.

Pretty sure mine used to move a tiny bit before I went with the internal throttle.

its normal. the grip end fits into a grove in the switch housing. if you remove the two screws that hold the switch housing together and separate it you will see what I mean.
