Default Fatboy Lo wont start!!!

I have a 2010 Fatboy Lo with 7000 miles. I live in Georgia and have not rode for about a month. When I went out to start her up this morning all I get is a loud rapid "clicking" that sounds like its coming from the starter. I have the battery charging but it is not reading low. I checked the starter relay and its clean. My battery connections and ground connections are good. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to start? I do have a power commander V. I am not that great of a mechanic but I have a service manual. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Click click click. . .when you try to start. My old sporty did that and drove me nuts with a two year old battery. Replaced the battery and she started right up! If you have access to a new battery, replace it and see if that takes care of it.

BTW: I DID have my battery read and it did not read low . .but it was shot!!!!!

sounds like the battery voltage is low or a bad connection. ck the ground connections on the frame. charge the battery and try it again

I have charged my neighbor's battery a couple of times. When the book says 12.7 volts is 100% they aren't kidding. I tried the close enough approach and put his back in when it read a little over 12 volts and no joy. It had to be charged all the way. Good luck

You can have a cell go bad in the battery and that will cause it too...

I also think it is your battery. Unless you test your battery with a load, you won't know if it is good.

Thanks for the help! I got her charged up and now she is running fine. I will keep a trickle charger hoked up until spring. Is there any way to see if the battery was damaged? I dont want to needlessly buy a new battery but I dont want to get stranded!
