I have researched tuners for 6 months and I think the TTS is the way to go. If you have a friend that needs their bike tuned they have a 2 bike option tuner that will actually do 2 bikes. (tuners that relash the ECM marry itself to one serial number, this one does 2)
The 2 bike tuner is $499 (250@ if you go this route? and the one bike is $339. both at harley direct website. The price is so low that you have to put it in the cart to see the price

Here is a link to harley direct. You have to put it "in the cart" to see the price.

This came out of my cal listings guide for tts:
"Note Regarding 2011-12 Softails and 2012 Dynas
The 2011-12 Softail & CVO Softails and the 2012 Dyna use new ECMs and calibrations and are not supported as of version 1.7.9 of MasterTune. These bikes require different programming hardware and cables."

I would use whatever one your tuner is used to using. You will get a better tune that way. It will cost yo more if the tuner has to learn how the tuner works in order to tune your ride. I use a SERT but thats just me. Powervision is another programer that seems to work I havenever used one but have used TTS and SERT
