Best mod or bike accessory for the money (cost Vs usefullness/value)

Well, if it's the best mod added one would think the one with the least amount of cost that goes eith it so anything being expensive might not even be considered. Having said that for me was the 6 speed transmission even though it was close to 3k. I know allot of people now have bikes that comes with the 6 speed but my bike is an 06 so it still had the 5 speed. The difference between a 5 speed and a 6 speed is like night and day and it has to add many many miles to the life of a bike. I also got SO tired of running down the highway feeling like I had to shift one more gear when I was in 5th and didn't have another gear to shift too! I am thinking about a 2nd bike and if I buy a used one again that has a 5 speed the very 1st think I will do to it is the pull that 5 speed tranny and throw another 6 speed in it. I would never go back to a 4 or 5 speed bike again.

Is this the kit that moves the controls forward 3"?
Oh yeah, my best purchase was my saddlebags from CC Leather. I would have loved (I think) $1000 saddlebags but these were $550, large, well-made and I have thoroughly enjoyed not having to keep the passenger seat with stuff strapped to it or a backpack. Although, I do have a large (about 7" diameter) handlebar bag that I really like as well.

I'd rather tell you in the Spring.. I want to say my 422's were the best value for the money (because I only spent $210 on them from eBay)..but i haven't had the bike out to test them yet. I'm only like $2,600 deep in mods, because most of what i've done was powercoating or changing things myself..
