I have a fuelpac on my heritage. Im going to add the pig tail for a tender to my battery when i get home tonight. am i going to lose the f-p settings when I disconnect the battery?

 

Nope...not at all. It's good to go. I have both on my bike and had no issues. In fact, if you disconnect your FP and reinstall it later on, it'll retain the previous settings since all the data is stored in the FuelPak software and not on the bike's ECM.

 

The program numbers are not loaded in volatile ram so you can remove the battery and not worry about having to reprogram the fuelpak. I just replaced the battery in my Fatboy (lower height) so I had more room for electronics, including the fuelpak, and I asked the help line at Fuelpak the same question.
I also checked the thing after to make sure and it was fine.
