Turbulence
Finally got the detachable windshield on the 06 Fatty and it makes winter riding so much better. It is at the consensus right height. Trouble is around 65mph there is wind from under the shield. If I put my legs out front beside the tank it stops but I look like a cheap ***** riding down the road. Can't seem to find those chrome things that clamp on to the front fork to break the wind for a Fatty. They have them for cruisers. Anybody got a source. The stealer said he dont have em for a Fatso.

RE: Turbulence
The wind defelctors on my Heritage use the same mounting bolts as the detachable shield....can you use the ones for a Heritage with your shield?
I checked the HD site..
it says this one fits the Fatty

RE: Turbulence
I also have the Memphis Shades lowers installed - work great, but doesn't totally eliminate the air turbulence. See sig pic...

RE: Turbulence
had the memphis shades on my Dyna and now the HD deflectors on my Heritage...they both work well but you'll never eliminate all of it.
