Default Those with 18" rear wheels

Getting info together for my wheel/tire mods.

What tire fits on an 18x3.5 wheel
150/70B 18 fits the 18x4.25

Any difference in the ride or ride height

Any rubbing, esp. when 2 up riding

Did you have to change the pulley on an 18x4.25

I know that a 140 fits a 3.5 wheel. Malingerer(Tom) has the 150 on his deluxe and has no rubbing issues at all. Dont know about 2-up riding, but I dont see it being a problem.

Don't see any 140/18 tires anywhere

I have the 4.25 wheel with the 150/70 tire and it barley fits in the fender.. I bet if you run it on a 3.5 rim it will hit when the fender flexes.. Just going by what I have though.

You wont find a WW 18 rear. They dont make them. You will have to have one made. Like Malingerer did. He had a 150/18 Metz made from DB. I had a 16 inch rear on mine. Factory WW from Metz. The one Malingerer had made is SWEET.

I know I'll have to get it made. Was just trying to see if anyone made a 18x3.5

So are you saying the 4.25 would be better than the 3.5

Yes cause the tire will not bubble off the wheel as much.

The 140/70/18 rear will fit the 18x3.5 rear. The 150 will fit the 4.25. I mocked up a 140/70/18 on mine and it had plenty of room, I just decided on the 16 rear. Malingerer said that his 4.25 fit fine and still had about 1/4 inch on either side. Wish that I had went with the 18 on the rear. Malingeres 18 on the rear looks so Bad A**

Thanks guys.

Country do you know who makes the 140/70/18. Trying to weigh the pro and cons of an 18 or just sticking with the 16. Just don't want any issues when 2 up

Fire, do you ever ride 2up and any issues
