Those are much more intense than mine. All I did was cut out some sheet metal to mount along the back side of the bag to help it retain its shape over years. Drilled 3 holes in it and the bag for mounting to places that the belt guard already mounts to, and got some plastic spacers I had laying around from a TV wall mount to space the bag out. Pics are hard to get with it already installed, but these are the best that I could do.

with the 3" that's probably decent, i did just the back-plate with just the 2 bolts from the top belt guard, and the bag was sagging and pulling away from the back plate, so i went ahead and cut up the inner pieces and bolted them together for some support..then painted the whole thing black.

I have the 5 inch wide one on my Rocker and love it. Well worth it. I use that, a fork bag and 1 other small bag for trips and it works fine. Well made and expands upward a few inches to hold more. Made in America also!

Thanks for the mounting bracket/plate tutorial fellas'.
Looks like I have to get another little project done before riding season kicks off in March.

I'm looking for a 312L for the Breakout. Anyone know where I can get the best price on one? Maybe a site vendor?

I have the 5 inch one as well, very happy with it.
I was amazed how much stuff I got in there.
Essentials like first aid kit, extra goggles, gloves, headgear,
Usb and 12volt plug in port, fuses, etc...
