Default Picked up my Cobra FI2000 Autotuner

I am interested to see how it works. I bought one for my '12 Fatboy Lo and one for my '12 Roadking.

I got the stage 1 for both bikes. Vance and Hines 2:1 Big radius for the Lo and Rinehart True Duals for the RK. SE AC for both.

Not many autotuners for 2012, so we'll see how it goes....

I am really glad to see this discussion HeHateMe. I just posted a question in the EFI/Tuner section of this forum asking if anyone has actually tried Cobra's new Fi2000 PowrPro with CVT Continuously Variable Tuning fuel management system, and here you are!

This unit is pretty pricey at $600 a shot, but looks easy to install and sounds like the perfect solution if you are continuously modifying your bike in stages ... no dyno required.
I am looking to modify my 2010 Fatboy Lo with new Rush 2=>1 pipes, K&N air cleaner and cams, but one change at a time.

Please let us know if this product works as adverstised. Thanks!

Does it actually adjust timing? Does it eliminate the ion anti knock ping system? Could not find any detailed info regarding those concerns.

I put the Cobra Pro on my new 2012 Blackline and its been great. I prefer it over my HD Pro mapped tuner.

It does not alter any system besides the fuel injectors. It plugs inline between the injectors and ECM to monitor and run the injectors only. If you have a bike equipped with O2 sensors, it will connect to those as well.

In the March 2012 issue of Hot Bike magazine there is an install on a '08 Road King with a stock 96-inch engine. Cobra's air intake, full exhaust, and Fi2000AT equated to an increase of 11.67 horsepower and 9.96 lb-ft of torque.

So they put on a Cobra A/c, Cobra pipes, and Corba tuner... and i bet the dyno's test, runs and sheets was made and printed by Cobra Com....

Hummmmm, amazing,,, all the mods and results all done by the same company. NO, I sure they ain't one sided in their favor.

I/ve seen hundred if not thousands of dyno sheets done of Before and after Stg1's and all diff tuners, fine tuned on Dyno's.... Most don't even do that good.
Most see a 6-10 HP and 3-6 TQ increase....

Cobra FI2000 PowerPro

I paid $440. for my Tuner on a black friday online sale. PhatPerformance has them for about $470. - $500. now depending on the model. Some riders will pay $300. for a windshield or chrome bolt ons, so I don't think the tuner is over priced. You get what you pay for, and your paying for the technology. Down the road some knock-offs willl appear and cost less probably.

It is a simple installation. Goes inline on fuel injectors, and inline on 02 sensors. It definitely runs stronger than my HD Tuner with dyno map. And if you make any performance changes, pipes, mufflers, AC, cams CI, etc, it automatically retunes to mods.

I had a stage 3 super charged car with tunung software, and my 09 SG, but the Cobra tunes up to 80 times a second running as close to stoichiometric as you can probably get.

If you buy most popular tuners and pay for a dyno, your right up there in price anyway. No I haven't dynoed it yet, but I can feel the torque difference and it seems to run somewhat cooler. No flat spots, and gets right on up when taking off while cruising. I'm seriously considering replacing my HD tuner in my SG with another one of these.
