Default Grrrrrr @HD....Need A New Front Fender Fast!!!

So after 4 months of being ordered, still no front smooth heritage/deluxe fender. Finally dealership phoned our Canadian warehouse and asked where the %&^ it is. Only answer they got was that metal supply has been short the last while in the States to make it. So order has been cancelled.

Time to move on and find a front fender fast before my rear fender goes in to get painted. I wouldn't care if it was easy to match HD's secret recipe to black denim...but as most know it's hard to match for a painter and all tins should be done at the same time.

Now bright side, I did find a front replica fender without holes and even the side flares to match the rear Russ Wernimont fender nicely...which is being fitted as we speak. JP Cycles has one made by Custom Works I believe for cheap. I am worried about the quality...anyone know or experienced with this product. Or is there something out there that is good quality and looks the same as this?

http://www.jpcycles.com/product/7100095

Thanx for any info or input.

9.25" Russ Wernimont Cruiser.

Pic from first mock up...dropped another inch on final fitting. Keep in mind it will be shotgun'd also.

In Canada where nothing is made here heh.

Btw maybe I should just leave the front fender alone?...the rear will line up in height once lowered.

Great...another night of scratching my head on the net

Well more I stare at Drew's mention, more I like it! The roundness of the tip is almost bang on to the rear fender. Good eye Drew!

Btw what air cleaner is that in that pic I referenced? Looks like an Arlen Ness? I think it would go well with my scheme.

Either a big sucker or an se filter. The cover is just the center portion of a football.
