You need to clean out rear caliper you put a rag under the piston and blow it out clean it and put a new seal dont hold hand under piston when you blow it out lay it on a peice of wood
Thanks for quick response , I all ready did the new seals in side the caliper, so do you mean if I pull the caliper off and push the piston in with my hands the reserve were you fill it up should go higher or in the master cylinder but how do I see this. I also noticed the brake fuild in side changed colour I think from over heating and burnt it.
Question? You said it was handed down to you and a dozen riders or owners before it got to you. Do you know this for sure, are you running the stock OEM set up on it or has someone changed it sometime or somewhere along the way? If it is stock with all you have tried so far I agree with a few of the others, collapsing fuel lines.
I'd be checking the main jet for an obstruction .... I think "the blob" has put you on the right track ... and ... it only takes a few minutes to pop off the carb and clean out the bowl and check for crap in the main jet .... Good Luck Brother!
Hi larry thank but the bike runs really good now it end up being the switch melted in side but my problem now is the back brake locking up and heating so i will check it all tmrw.
yes i cleaned it up like new no crap in side slides smooth new quad seal and dust cap. Does the spring clip over the 2 pads towards the out side and one of the rubber bushers the end of the sealed end has broken of could this be a problem
