Default Style Question About Matching Left and Right.....

I usually don't ask others on opinions about how my bike should look, but is it generally accepted that the color of the horn cover match the color of the AC cover? Primary cover and points cover should match, and there are other rules regarding matching to make a bike look balanced, but what about horn/AC cover? I'm not asking if they should be identical, but should they both be mainly black, or mainly chrome......or can one be chrome and the other black? I know it's personal taste......

This question is about bikes in general, not specifically just my bike.

Whatever looks good, they dont have to be the same. On your bike the horn should be black though.

Cant see them both at the same time unless you are sitting on the bike so if you dont mind then I dont see why they have to match.

Same goes for points and derby, I have seen tons that dont match but look very cool none the less.

IMHO I think they should match, but that's just what I would want on my bike. I personally like balance, but if you don't think it would bother you, then don't pay any attention to people like me. I do agree that on your bike, black for both would be best. But hell, paint your bike purple and do the a/c and horn in orange if that's what floats your boat...

I hope not. I just pulled the horn off to clean up a little of the lines. Does that mean I have to pull the a/c and the throttle body off to match?! It's the "clean" Los Angeles air that keeps me from putting a velocity stack on. Hahahha.

each to their own. but on mine I just reticently cut my football A/C down to a circle to cover the filter and bought a black PC'ed horn.

Thinking I may do more black out on the bike, but yet I spent $$$$ on the Chrome chit.

Oh well,, we tier of the same ole, same ole.

None of mine match. In fact, I like it better when they DON'T match, otherwise it looks like you are going for a "theme". Especially with Willie G. Skull or "Live to Ride". Nothin' wrong with it, just not my cuppatea.

BTW klf33 that is the best looking Softail I've seen in a long time;maybe ever!
