Oh man. I'm glad it turned out as well as it did!

 

Glad it turned out ok. A friend of mine had a seat 'jump' off a shelf and land on the seat of his Heritage several years ago.

That's when I made sure the only thing higher than my bike is air!

I hope everyone learnds from my misfortune. I do NOT have a messy garage, house, driveway, storage, NOTHING! I have a place for everything. That could not happen again in a million years but it only had to happen once for me. I could not believe I was watching a gallon of that wood stain flow over my entire front end. It was pure panic. Like I said, I know what these bikes mean to everyone and one small mistake can alter your scooter in a heart beat. I was very lucky my Son grabbed the hose immediatley because I was standing there in shock! It could have been SO MUCH more worse then it was. I now have NOTHING within 6 feet of my scooter and I mean nothing!

Glad everything came out ok for you Tbone. Here in Quakeifornia we
have to be especially diligent about what is in the surroundings when
parking our bikes in our garages. My scooter has its own area and is
strapped down to eye bolts anchored in the floor.
