As long as the pipe clears the f-b mounting bracket you should be good. Ive never had any cause to raise my floorboard all the way up anyway. How far do you raise it before contact?

the floor board goes up bout an inch then it starts to dig into the heat sheild .. so if im on a aggressive turn and lean to much the flooroard will get stuck on the heat sheild ... 2nd i like to put it up in the garage for walk by space,,,haven said all that i dont think the floorboard should hit anything it should move freely like the stock 1. poor design if thats the case,,thanks for the responses

talked to v and h about the floorboard clearence they said and i quote" we did not give that any thought in the design and did not think people put there floorboards up"...i can come up up with plenty of reasons y i would want them to work as original and think that they should. so i tightened the bolts on the boards so they cant go up and damage the sheilds!!..haven said that i love the sound and the look .

Have had two different v&h pipe sets and neither one allowed right footboard to go up. Non-issue for me though.

Cant remember the last time on a ride i didnt fold the floorboards up on my Lo in the turns when i get a little aggresive while riding. They were designed to fold from the factory, seems like they should with any pipes. My 2 cents.

When the Wife's on their down. Ride solo (seldom do). their up...

I really like the V&H's pipes,,BUT.....
IMO that's a lame excuse. For a company like V&H's to say... OOOh never thought about that issue, is not a good response.. again IMO..

I just went online and seen several lo's the had Ur pipes and it seem llike they work with the stock pegs..

So some pixs would help see the problem..

May be U'll need to add a spacer between the bracket and the frame to push it out a little.. course U'll need a little longer bolt to fasten it up.
