Agree...front forks can be worked to shine like chrome & I prefer performance over bling anyday. Stage-1 + tuner will pay-off in the long run w/better performance & cooler ops. Also, you're setup for any future mods...JMO

Eye candy VS better running motor,???? is Ur choice!.

How I decided what mods to do first when I got her new when I was 59? Well I knew this could be my last new bike and I wanted to get her running the best I could and COOL the oil temp down so she'd last..

STG1 and cams, IMO was the best things to do to achieve the above.

So by doing the cams, pipes, A/C and Sert all at once U'll only need the 1 dyno and U'll be set for YRs. If U don't change things
After doing all the above the temp dropped from 245 to 215 on average temp during rides.

But IMO any motor will run cooler after breaking in (For me it took 10K to really feel she was broken in), Plus Syn oil helps, I use Mobil 1 V-twin, but use whatever U like....

Thanks All!
I really appreciate the advice! After your help about doing all the performance mods at one with 1 dyno makes too much sense. So knowing that I want to do a 107" big bore, I think I'll wait until next year to do all the performance mods, that way I'll have enough money to do what I want right the first time.

So for now, come March 1st, I am going to but a Hawg Halters 4* tree and the chrome fork sliders on. This will almost finish up the look I want. (seeing as how we are never done dressing out our rides)

Thank you all for helping me!!
