I know people usually go with fatboy fenders on standards. BUT I'm looking to go with the standard fender on my fatboy. I just like the look of em....

From my searches, it seems that the 06 standard has a the large tire where the Fatboys didn't get the larger tire until 07....

My question, will an 06 softail standard fender fit on a 12 fatboy since it will accommodate the larger tire? Did any mounting change?

The reason for asking is I can get a good deal on an 06 softail fender right now.....

Will bolt right up the fatboy fender bolted right up on my 06 standaerd. Tail light wiring not the same thou. Oh yeah I forgot if you need a stock tail light for I got one.

i have a 200mm rear fender from a night train...(denim black) really good condition. 1 small ding...i will trade you plus cash for your rear fender.

yes...any 200mm rear fender from the standard custom or night train 2006 and later will fit a fatboy 2007 or later.
