Default What pipes to get?

I have a 2011 Softail Deluxe and am debating what pipes I should go with. Anyone know a website that I can listen to the sound of different pipes to help make my decision easier. I tried youtube and had some success. Didn't have any luck getting the sound on the Vance and Hines website to work. Know of any others or preferences in pipes... I'm open to suggestions...

Thanks

Samson Cholos. No video you find will do an exhaust justice.

agreed. no video or soundbite will ever tell you how the pipes really sound in person. there's a lot of threads here with information on how the different pipes sound. as for me i like samson non-baffles but i'm biased.

Well...you can't make the sound choice with a video clip or sound bite. The sound is never faithful. Start with the look you're going for but you'll have to listen to them in person. The Samsons are great pipes but they kind of dominate the look of your bike. Lots of Luxes do the V&H BSS or SS. Go to the Photo Gallery and find your look but you will definately change you mind if you don't like the sound.

D&D Fat Cat.... Without question one of the best sounding pipes out there! I wanna get Cholo's but can't part with the way the Fat Cat sounds. My advice.. Go to a few charitey rides where there's alot of bikes to see and listen to because like everyone says, videos don't do pipes any justice, although the unbaffled Cholos sound pretty good!

Go to Ur harley dealer some sat, sun, or a bike rally, and listen to all the diff ones.

Then when U hear/see what U like, buy them.

This is the best way to get what U want.

I love the sound of my Vance & Hines Big Shots Staggered pipes. I put them on a 2010 Heritage Softail.

Got the Vance and Hines Dual Exhausts on the same Deluxe you have. Great classic look, not too loud, not too quiet. You can definitely hear the rumble, especially when you're surrounded by solid and roomy areas, i.e. any type of ally or covered parking structure.
