I am new to the forum and searched for pipes for my Deluxe. I chose V&H Pro Pipe Chrome and could not be happier with the looks and the sound.

 

I have Vance and Hines Big Shot Staggered on my Softail. They look and sound awesone though my wife may say they are too loud. They are loud but I like them. I wondered the same question for pipes before I bought mine, which ones? I read and watched hundreds of opinons on pipes as I could not sit in front of a dealer and listen to other bikes (nearest dealer two hours away). It is true videos don't do justice for pipes but you can listen to different pipes with a grain of salt and it will help. Good luck.

 

Samson true duals...sound great, but loud. I'm in the process of putting on 33" fishtails.

 

Get the cholos! Only thing is how long should you get them.
