Default Shout Out to all Fat Boy Lo Owners

I am trying to decide whether to purchase a Fat Boy Lo or the new Switchback as a second bike. Please let me know the pros and cons of owning a Fat Boy Lo. Thank you in advance.

And or Or?

If you're getting both, go for it. If just one, I vote for the fatty.

The switchback is a science experiment in my opinion.

Lo. No doubt about it. I haven't once found a reason I would rather have something else. You can take it from badass cruiser to bagger easily.

I traded my 09 Ultra Classic for my 2011 Lo. Never looked back! Had a 08 Dyna before that and it dose not even compare to the ride and look of the Lo. My 2cents.

check out the thread "Calling All FatBoy Lo Owners"...

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...lo-owners.html

it's only 5070 posts deep, I'm sure you'll get through it one day..

Pros: They're sexy, the center of balance is so low you feel like you're one with the machine, the B motor, the ride is smoother, (i have a joke that fills in this place, but with your user name i'm not sure it's appropriate)..

oh to heck with it.. i don't really care..

..it'll get you laid. And if you're a woman, it will still get you laid. Haha.

I love my Lo.. she's my baby. Her name is Lola.

IMHO..the switchback is just silly looking.. it has an identity crisis.. like "Am I a touring bike? or am I a cruising bike? What is my purpose for being??"

CONS:
The link to thread I posted will cause your bank account to empty out.
It will get you laid so much that there won't be any time for riding it.

Go with the Lo, you won't regret it. I also think the switchback looks like a Frankenstein bike.

Hahaha!!! Well said, Jim!!!

Personally was lookin at the Lo before I found a sweetheart of a deal on a Fatboy. I just blacked a little then slammed (lowered, I don't wish to offend anybody either) her. I don't think here's even a comparison. Go Lo!!!!!!
And my Fatty doesn't too bad with the ladies either

I have to agree with all of the above, I came from a geezer glide to the Dark Lo side. No regrets at all. Love it stripped down like in my sig or I can dress it up for when the wife wants to ride.

Switchback=identity crisis. I don't like it at all. Love the Fatboy Lo. I only have one bike (not a lo) and mine has a little color and chrome. You mentioned the choice was for a second bike. What's the other one?

FB lo Pros: It's a Fatboy. Ride it and you'll know what that means. Easy to customize and never loses it's Fatboy character no matter what you do to it. You can hot-rod it, slam it, bag it, old-school it, ape it, spoke it, re-tin it, paint it, chrome it, black it out. Doesn't matter...

Cons: Don't know any...
