Default Lowering Kit Question???

I have a lowering kit on my 06 Fat Boy. It has the stock 16" wheels. Nice and low but safe and comfortable. I am changing to 18" chrome set-up from Hog Pro.. How will that affect the lowering kit or the height of the bike? Will I still be able to use it? Any opinions or advice welcome..please...Thanks..

You may have to adjust your lowering kit so you don't scrape the inner top of the fender when you hit a bump.

I think what they meant to say was you may have to raise the front end to avoid the top of the front fender hitting the lower triple clamp. The fender itself should have enough play to clear the taller tire.

i agree with ranger and klug...good response!!

The rear fender is definitely at risk of bottoming out with the taller wheel if it has been lowered too much in the rear.

I thought he had lowered the front. The added size of the tire in the rear, if lowered, will most likely rub as well.
