Many thanks sagebrush, PM sent.

I used WD40 on my old Nighthawk that had a black engine and it worked great.

The wd40 does seem to work good. I just used it to clean some polish off, sprayed a small amount and hit it with a toothbrush. Sucked brushing my teeth the next morning.

I also picked up a can s100, I believe a 4.5 oz can for 9.95 at the dealer.

I'd say I probably spray it maybe 5 times thru-out the summer. If I'm going to a show it gets it before we go. Stays nice and black and doesn't attract dust like oil or WD. Wife tried it first when we lived in FL. and I never thought it would work as well as it does. I use regular No Touch, haven't tried the wet shine stuff but I think it would be too shiney.

Here is what S100 did for my 14 year old EVO motor. That stuff rocks. HD also sells the touch up paint that works killer as well. All of it made my motor look new. I wouldn't replace the S100 with anything else and I am a cheap b@stard.

I agree, it's what my night train wants to be when it grows up.

Thanks a bunch. I cannot take credit for the carb being polished. That was done by Dale Sanders at Killer MC products. But the motor I had to touch up a lot of areas and then of course clean it all off.
