I bought a set from the dealer (not by HD, but similar) that has served me well for six years... as long as I leave my bags on and take it with me! <grin> It was about $80. I suppose you could get a tool wrap and go to Harbor Freight and save about $10 by putting your own set together... just go to the dealer and take a look at what they have, take some pics with your cell, and that will give you the list.

For some reason my handle bar clamps are always coming lose. I carry a allen wrench to tighten them up. Other than that it is the cell phone in my pocket that will "fix" most of my problems.

Only time I carry tools is on trips which is couple adjustable's, Eight in one wrench, Allen wrench's, couple bungy cords and tape.
Don't put any in when riding around home and thank God I haven't ever needed any.

I like to carry...Zip ties, Electrical tape, combo torx and allen driver kit, adjustable wrench, combo srewdriver, stubby screwdriver (this has saved me several times in 30 years) spark plug wrench and extra plugs last but not least...mechanics wire. It sounds like alot, but it all fits in a small military style tool bag.

Last Summer I purchased two tool kits from Lowe's, both are in cases, incased in a foam holder in the case.

This sounds like a good kit. Of course a cell phone and AAA card helps.
