do you need to change the bulb socket when converting from a sealed beam headlight to a H4 bulb on a 99 harley davidson softail? I use to use bike bandit to look up this info but hd is no longer listed??? anyone got a part # for a newer bikes bulb socket?

It depends on the new bulb configuration compared to the old bulb.
