Wheel Differences

Wheel Differences
Have kind of a technical question. What is the difference in a 21" spoked wheel off of a softail standard from 2005 and one from 07 up? I know the bearings are different...but the actual wheel themselves, are they different? What would the differences be?
Reason being and example...if I find an '08 wheel from a night train to put on my '06 deluxe - would it be as simple as only changing the bearings?

I believe that the only diff is profile and non profile rims, profiled rims are a smpooth curve on top and the non are stepped..... if thats what you want to call it.
Profiles look better to me, where as the non look the same as all spoked rims looked since the 60's
STEPPED
PROFILE

Oh really? OK, well that kind of makes sense. The thing that had me wondering is the two part numbers below.
44608-05A - Which is a Profile Rim for 00-06 Night Train
44608-08 Profile Rim for 07 up.
I wondered if the only difference is the bearings...but then again, Harley doesn't sell this wheel with bearings installed - so that is what made me wonder if there were other differences??
Thanks for the help...yes, the Profiles look better and will match my Profiled Deluxe wheel better too!

Inside the wheel, between the two bearings is a metal rod/ tube (maybe axle goes through it)

I'm talking about the small tube on left next to bearing (think it reads 92152)
