I originally bought a set of Big Radius from V&H when the bike was new, but wasn't "doin' it" for me. I can tire of things fast sometimes. To each, their own I guess.
I bought one of the first set of Rinehart Cross Backs to hit the market, and can't find a reason to replace them.
IMO, Rineharts just sound deeper, louder, smoother and generally different than any other thing on the market. Simular to Pro Streets, but smoother. Rinehart really chokes down the pipe in the first two inches outside of the head, and that makes more torque. I also think, although it's my opinion, think anybody who owns a set of Rineharts gets so used to the difference in sound that you can pick out a set by the sound they make, before seeing the bike they're on.
I also think they have a look that I can't improve. Twisted, but simple.

I just bought a 2006 FXSTS Hooker Troublemakes with the baffles removed. The bike has only 3,000 miles. I am picking up the Springer tomorrow and riding it back to my garage. About 75 miles. I will have the baffles and a jet kit. I took the bike for a short test run and I am not really sure what I am going to do with the baffle situation.
Nice looking set up with the intake and exhaust George C. Without getting beat up here for changing the thread. Can I ask you what intake you have?
I see that you had some bluing issues with the Troublemakers.

hey fellow riders i have alittle dilemma , i currently have a nice set of python 3 pipes on my softail , these things sound low and rumble nice but i like my bike loud and these baffles do not come out without cutting them out , so i went ahead and cut my factory pipes up and took out all the packing and baffles , but now with the tips being 3inch it sounds like elephant getting an enema lol.does anyone have any suggestions on some pipes that sound and look good ,, i love the look of the big radius , but not the pice tag again , anyone want to trade your pipes for my python 3 full pipes ?
You've got to decide on your priority of the big three...oh yeah and the other (one):
Sound
Look
Performance
(Price)
