good choice. coming from a nightster the night train was actually the first bike i was looking at getting. welcome to the softail family.

 

Dyna for softail? You should be ecstatic. You will be when you ride it...

Traded my FXRS in for a Nightrain a few years ago never looked back,good choice.

 

Took me a few different steps to get to my night train....

Although mine is very different, and most don't like it... But I do... That's what matters, and it's a
NighT Train!!!!

 

Don't think there are too many folks on the softail forum who are going to tell you that you made a mistake trading your dyna for a Night Train including me. I have an 08 myself and love it.

 

I think this guy is right as a matter of interest maybe you should put your post on the Dyna forum and see what they say.

 

Last year I traded my FXD in on a Fat Boy Lo. The Fat Boy Lo fits me better but I think I actually enjoyed riding the FXD more. Most don't feel that way moving from the Dyna series to the Softails but I certainly do. There's just something about that rubber mounted motor that I miss.

 

I ride an 08 myself can't go wrong with any nt.
