So to my understanding with shotgun you can raise/lower as you please, and on the fly and while riding but with the 422's you have to preload your settings? Your low. Setting and your 2up or higher setting. This correct or ami way off?

Is it true that the progressive shocks will only offer 1" of lowering capacity to the Deluxes since they are already 1" lower than other softails?

This is true. The bike does not have much more travel than that and would sit on the bump stops.

Would the adjustment **** interfere with a HD teardrop-shaped chrome tool box on the left side of a FXSTC (Softail Custom)?
Thanks

They are way less than a grand. I already spoke with Drew, (DR.V-Twin) and they are way closer to $500 than a grand.
I will be ordering them from him as soon as they are released this January.

So for a solo rider that just wants to lower the bike a little bit and adjust it to be comfortable...the regular 422's should work just as well, correct?

Is there a recommended rider weight for the heavy duty 422's vs. the standard 422's? I can understand being too plush but at a certain point you don't want it too stiff, either. Just not sure if the HD's would be for me or not...
