Performance exhaust choice on 07 FXST
So I have narrowed it down to two maybe three choices and I am having trouble choosing a new exhaust system.
1. Supertrapp 2-1 Super Meg
2. Thunderheader 2-1
3. D&D Fatcat 2-1
I will be running them on a 103ci, ported heads, andrews 54h cam, pc III, and K&N heavy breather.
Any thoughts on which you would choose?
Thanks,
dk

D&D is a nice sounding pipe and I have that on my softail with 96inch. Buddy has supertrap on 103 with cams and he lives in a apartment so supertrapp he was able to quit it down because he leaves for work at 4AM. In my opinion thunderheader sounds good and has performance but is ugly looking.

I'd choose a D&D or sueprtrapp. I am not a Thunderheader guy. A bunch of guys I ride with occasionally all have thunderheaders and after a while they start to look really bad. Maybe they don't clean their bikes enough or something, but I like the other two better. I sell all 3 at discounted pricing.

Performance wise any of them will be a good choice.
the rest is up to U on looks and sound,, If $$$ ain't a issue...
Here in our mid state IND U see more V&Hs than all others put together.
In the last 5yr that I've looked for D&D's I've only seen one Harley that had them and A couple that had Super-T's..Then probably a dozen or so that had TH'ers and those where almost all on older bikes..
I agree with most the TH'er are not one of the better Looking pipes , but the sound is decent and they make good #'s.
D&D does have the quiet baffles, they help with the loudness and are dyno proven to be better in the low rpms than the standard baffle.
