i dont like leather.. never have....
BUT....

If I could get ahold of, own... a Heritage springer, fully leather, fringed out i would... in a quick second...

I love that bike and its look...

i have thought about mostly converting my springer night train.... but i dont think my attempt would work out as well....

I don't get it. There isn't a practical purpose is there? They're just there to make a bike pretty?

The same thing can be said about paint and chrome...

That's why I'm blacking out the chrome and paint serves an actual purpose of providing protection to the metal. Bare metal will rust.
