Default Harley Reaper Wheels ?

Anybody running them on a 2007 and up Fatboy...? Any thoughts good or bad. If you did, did it change any of the blowing of the bike in high winds going down the road...? Thanks for any input. I was going to change just the front first. And for anybody that says the solid wheels dont blow ya down the road like a KITE....Forgetaboutit.....! Thanks...

my suggestion is to seek out other wheel companies. harley is way overpriced on pretty much everything, especially their wheels!

that whole solid wheel thing is a myth. the way the turbulence acts, they all act like solids in a crosswind at hwy speeds. I'd like somebody to find a windtunnel test and post the link. guarantee HD engineers did alot of research on this. if the solid wheels adversely affected handling as bad as some say, they wouldnt be using them.

I replaced the chrome solid wheels on my 07 Fatboy with Harley Blades. I did notice a big crosswind difference between the wheels.........sometimes in the valley going home the crosswinds (they can be pretty strong) made the solid front wheel feel like it was on ice. I will say that I'll not a big guy.........only weigh a little over 150 lbs. and that may have something to do with it, not enough downward force from my body weight. I still get buffetting when I pass a semi truck.....nothing will change that.

I had them on my 08 fatboy. No noticeable difference in performance compared to stock. I was happy with them but would look around a little more next time. There are a lot of nice looking wheels made by others.
