Default HELP! Need parts help for a split ring washer

EDIT: It's called a retaining ring, not a split ring. Sorry. Still need your help though.

Replacing the stock passenger pegs on the 2012 Heritage Softail and break the retaining ring that holds the peg bolt in place. But I can't find the part number or size of that retaining ring and it's not included in the instructions.

Here's a link to an image of what I'm asking about. http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=HAC

Can someone help me out with that number and/or size of that retaining ring?

Thanks!!

that is a standard retaining ring you if you have the other one you could try lowes or home depot if you are in a pinch but any HD dealer or auto parts store can help as long as you have one to match size with.

You'll love this. Went to 3 auto parts stores and no luck. Even stopped at a grocery store because they had a small auto parts section.

Nada.

H-D dealer is over an hour away.

what type auto store did you go to? autozone, advance and the like probably wouldn't, but a real auto parts place like Napa, Fishers or Car Quest should have what your looking for. the auto term for the style retaining ring that you showed is a "Internal Snap Ring". call around and ask if they have a selection..

if the eye hooks were on the outside, it would be called a "outside retaining ring".

Try this place. You'll need the pliers to remove them too.
