I've done apes a couple times and wired internally, my confusion came with the namz extensions. Everybody says plug and play so I was thinking fir some reason I wouldn't have to take the connectors apart but I realize now whats up. Can someone explain why the namz is better than the extensions burly sends?
Just an FYI, the old saying you get what you pay for holds true with the Burly kit. You are much better off making your own extensions and soldering them in as they will be less likely to come apart and ordering your cables from Magnum Shielding. The Magnum cables are by far superior to the burly kit. Just my opinion anyway.
I have to agree on the Burly cables. There is anotehr less expensive option which is the LA Choppers black vinyl cable kit which is around $200 as well. As far as the wiring extensions go my opionion is that even if you get extensions that plug in they should still be soldered and heat shrunk as pulling them through the bars has been known to have them come apart, and who wants to pull them through the bars, hook tehm up, and have to pull them back out again. That is one of the most labor intensive parts of a bar install.
Those bars look alot like the LA Choppers Nice Curves that Ive seen popping up on here a bit this week....Good looking bars, fit your bike real nice.. +1 on the get what you pay for......never enjoyed using the Burly cable kit, looks more generic than the stock crap.
