Default Need some help with wiring extensions and clutch cable. Drew?

Brothers...
I am doing my winter mods and I added the same bars as Micahpop. I took the time to take the wires out of the connectors the way you are supposed to do it. I routed the cables back through the bars and low and behold...it just fits. Which really means that when I turn the bars right and left the wiring will be to tight and might snap. So, I have 3 choices...find wires in some extension pack and add the 2 inches by snipping and soldering and shrink wrapping. Or buying a new harley right and left hand control wiring kit that is about 6 inches longer and then taking everything apart, pulling the wires and redoing everything.

Trouble is that I don't know where to get either.

Drew, you may know how to get the real wires? Not sure how long they are stock on a Rocker C.

Final question...is it hard to change the clutch cable? Do I need to drain the fluids first? I have the replacement longer chrome cable and the manual but not sure if I want to. The throttle, etc... was easy. Any tips on the Clutch cable?

Thanks

I can get you the extensions. You will probably have to trim them down as they come in much longer than 2" sections. As far as the clutch, if the bike is on the side stand no need to drain. Yiou will lsoe a few drops but not enough to really worry about. You need a snap ring pliers too. The snap ring is a bit of a pain.

Thanks for the info fellas. I bought 8 inch novello extensions last night. Hopefully they work. Thanks for the info on the clutch cable too. I'll work that too.

Boy...being overseas sucks for this stuff because every time I get a hitch I have to order online and wait atleast a week. lol.
