Can anyone make a good suggestion on which 21" front wheel would match the stock rear on a Deluxe without looking out of place? I'm thinking that's he next item on the list of mods...

ElJayBird Im on the same boat as you right now. I just want to get a 21 up front too so it can match the rear not having to blow to much money on it until I go with Ride Wright. A simple change of the front wheel change makes a huge difference in the look of the deluxe-it flows better filling up that fender to it's fullest. There is one alternative to getting a 21 inch wheel from a stock Softail Night Train. which is a direct bolt on with no mod. Only thing is the wheel is a 21 X 2.15 and not 21 X3.5 and will not center down the front of your fender. If you look at other post from Malingerer, I feel he has become the expert at this. He took on the task of making sure his 21 inch night train wheel got centered by getting the hoop of the wheel relaced 1/4" toward the rotor side.
On the thread below Malinger shows a pic of his ride and how the wheel is off centered. Even though you can still ride on it with no problems, it just wont be centered. I guess I'm like Malinger, the feeling of not having the wheel dead center will linger in the back of my head driving me nuts. Call it **** but it just does not look right.
This might be the approach I'm going with unless any other members can shine some light on here for any suggestions on where to get a 21 inch wheel upgrade to match the rear.
Just to clarify, Ride Wright does not make a wheel that matches the smooth lipped Harley profile wheels. Their rims are stepped for the reason that someone else owns that patent on them. Options for width on 21" rims are 2.15"(for 90/21 tires) 3" for either 90/21 or 120/21 tires) or 3.5" (for 120/21 tires).
