Loud tapping noise
#21
Update!
A few weeks ago I rode down to St. Pete, about 620 miles. Soon after I was on the interstate and up to 85 miles per hour for about 30 minutes the noise stopped. And now when I start up in the morning the overall valve noise is much lower.
I have been riding to work almost every day for three weeks and the noise has not returned. The difference in the way the engine sounds when I first start it in the morning is phenomenal. What gives? Or, what gave?
