Mini apes on Deuce
Can't take the oem drag bars anymore, neck and shoulders are hurting after an hour. Sat on a fxstc and liked the way they felt, was told they are basically 12" mini apes and could swap 'em on there. Does that sound right ?

That sounds right. They might be 10 or 8 tall, not really sure, but a taller bar with more options for angles allow you to sit much more comfortable in my opinion.

I would be concerned with cable length an dire length too but 12" is a fairly short distance from your setup with new, shorter risers.

I run chubby 14's with 1 1/2 riser on my deuce and is at shoulder level which is great. I'm 6'3 though.

Put 12-inch minis on my Heritage. That's as tall as I could go without switching out cables. Love it, much more comfortable and handles great.
