Anyone out there running Bassani Pro street turnouts. Looking to change pipes for a different look. Hows the performance. Running 95 inch with wood cams rebel carb and reworked heads. Thanks
The Pro Streets are single walled, non heat shielded pipe.
That means they will turn blue, and will burn your leg because of the side by side collector.
I love the look, but I can't do a blued out pipe on my rig.
I am running the Bassani Pro Streets on my deuce. they do get blue on the header and have burnt my dress pants on them once (only while waiting in traffic my leg got to close to the header). They are incredibly loud but love the power they generate.
i have bassanis and its the only pipes ill ever put on my bikes...i prefere the black no worries with bluing...the performance ,the roar , te look is top notch.
Anyone know if you can remove / replace the baffles on the turnouts? Looking at them, I'm not sure how you could slide it out unless it's really short.
I have them and love the sound and performance, I did wrap the pipes with header tape because they turned blue with in minutes of running (granted I left the choke on too long during warm up).
I had them on my night train, switched back to a thunderheader, if that tells you anything....
Take a look at the Hooker Troublemakers. They come in black also. They have a mean deep throaty sound, much better sound than the bassani in my opinion.
