Default Wheels

I have only owned my FLSTF for 2 months, I have stock wheels and today was a really windy day here in the NE. I got cought in a cross wind and it felt as if i was on ice, Are there any incidents or accidents that anyone is aware of due to cross wind on these solid wheels.

I had that happen on my ride a few times. The reality of the situation is that any wheel when moving at a constant velocity will act as if it is solid in the right amount of wind. My solution was to buy a new set of wheels, then another, then another and so on. I have not had the situation since but am reluctant to say if it was the solid rims although all logic points to it.
