Sounds like you are getting a good deal. They aren't that cheap around here!
Only thing that struck me as odd is a lady rider who only rides once a month spent the money for a big bore? Seems like an odd choice. Maybe you already found out more about the history and it makes sense.
Mine is 5 spd, no issues. Most of the guys I know would get a 6 if the deal was the same but wouldn't pass up a great deal on a 5 spd.

Stock risers on the lux are about 3" high and then have a 2" pull back. I installed 1/2" risers on mine with my 16" wild1's. Bro your already getting a lux for 8k all that money you saved might as well get a legit suspension like shotgun shock.

aquaelvis..yeah I thought it was a good deal. It did strike me odd also that a lady would have a nice bike like that and hardly ride it but put all that money into it but she worked at a place where she got discounts on Harley products and her fiance owns a customization shop and did all that work for free. According to her he did it for her b/c she wanted to be like the other guys' bikes they rode with. Seems a little weird to me but I guess if you have more money than sense then why not. It looks almost showroom condition and run great. I guess I just got lucky. Hope I don't blow an engine or something go horribly wrong a month into riding it. We'll see

Bobber....thanks for the info man. Yeah you're right about that money going to a legit suspension but that's why I got rid of my last Harley...spent to much too quick and then needed money for other bills. That's why wive's are the devil! They seem to somehow always screw up everything good. Trying to take it easy this time and go a little slow with the expenses. I def want the Shotgun after seeing all the pics and videos tho.
