Default Traded in 2011 Wide Glide for 2011 Fat Boy

I just traded my 2011 Wide Glide for a 2011 Fat Boy. After riding a Fat Boy for years then buying a Wide Glide and trying to convince myself that I could get use to the A motor, shocks, vibration, etc., I decided to trade my FXDWG in for a FLSTF. I have no buyers remorse this time and love the bike. I pick it up Saturday so I will have pics then. It is cool blue pearl. They were trying to get rid of the 2011 they had left so I got an incredible deal. $500 down and my payment is only $40 more a month. I did a stage 1 kit (V & H straight shots, Fuel Moto PC, Zippers A/C) to my wide glide though so I lose that but I really didn't take a bath trading it in. Don't really care about the 103's because I plan to do cams in the Fat Boy anyways. I have a lot of plans for it. I ordered wild 1 10" outlawz apes for the wide glide so they will be going on the Fat Boy. Stage 1 kit to follow. Much more practical for riding with my lady too. Overall such a more comfortable ride. The Dynas are nimble and you can toss them around which is what I love about them but you can't beat the ride of a softail. Don't get me wrong I would love a street glide but my finances don't permit that now. Maybe in a few years. Need some Ideas for exhaust though. I am not going to rush this just to get rid of those hideous exhaust. It is so damn quiet.

2011 FLSTF

Those are definitely some good exhaust suggestions. Thanks. I really like them so far.

I like that cool blue pearl color sounds like you got yourself a good bike. Enjoy it now just in time for fall riding.

What bike did you get? There is an FLSTF Fat Boy and a FLSTFB Fat Boy Lo. I think the FLSTB is a Cross Bones.

My bad. I got a Fat Boy FLSTF. I was unsure of the HD letters for the Fat Boy. Thanks

I applaud your decision to get rid of the hideous stock exhaust. I went with Vance and Hines True Duals on mine, and it's kind of cool, cause I have never seen in person another Fat Boy with them. I get a lot of compliments on them to.
