I've done a search and didn't really come up with anything. I know it's been discussed here before though. Does anyone know of a good, quick connect, fuel line that would make removing the tank easier and less messy? I like to remove the tank once in awhile to check wiring harnesses and just clean up things under there. One with a double 'check' so fuel wouldn't come out would be good. I know HD and Drag Specialties makes a braded line (this is the one under the front of the tank) but they are mostly 'cosmetic' and don't help the situation.

 

I have the HD braided one and it is reusable but the rubber o-rings sometimes crush and need to be replaced when re-installing. I keep a some on hand for "just in case". I'm not aware of a "quick disconnect" for the crossover fuel line. The easiest, non-messy way is to use a tansfer pump to remove to fuel before removing the tank. You can get one pretty cheap at the local auto parts store.
