Solo bag for laptop and lunch, for a Rocker?

I ride my Harley virtually every day to and from work, rain or shine or freezing (unless it is monsooning before I leave home). About 50 miles per day.
Many of my Harley friends ask me why my bike isn't polished, I tell them that I actually ride my bike, unlike their garage ornaments. I do clean it up often, but polishing rims seems like a pointless endeavor and I have better things to do

I have a backpack I bungi cord onto my seat if I need to carry anything extra. Usually I just take what fits in my jacket. On the way home I will stop sometimes and get a 20 pack of long necks and bungi them to the passenger seat. I have a small bag on the back of the seat which hold bungi cords and glasses. 16 miles to work and 50 on the way home I can't figure out why the ride home is more miles.
