Default PCIII and Samson pipes

For those currently or will be running Samson pipes, I got an e-mail from Dynojet stating PCIII maps will be available soon. Reason I asked is that I am taking off the my current pipes and installing Samson True dual long fishtails and was wondering what map should I use until they post the new Samson maps. Here is the e-mail:

"Map 805-217 for the long mean mothers will be very similar. The Samson mapping should be available in the near future. Use the 217 map for now and I will contact you when the Samson map is available."

Yes those are V&H bigshot longs and I have had no problems with the PCIII. I am currently running a custom map but the PCIII map to download is M805-212 ... I used it before and no decel popping at all.

SMSgt B, where did you order the pipes? Post some pics after the install. Did you get the fishtail with long muffler S-431, or the longtail with long muffler S-433?

Scott,

Got the S-433s from Eastern Performance through Ebay. I will definately post some pics when completed and also some install pics ... samson's install instructions are not real good for us visualization type of guys.

Not to jump in on this thread, but here are Samson S-430s on my deluxe. I went with the Stage 1 download for the Springer Classic and it runs pretty good.

I know it's been a really long time since you ran this post, but I am running Samson TD fishtails and was looking into purchasing a PCIII. Did Dynojet ever get back to you with a Samson Map?

I just checked there website and I couldn't find a map for Samson TD's.

Yeah this post is old! I dont think Samson ever posted a specific map for the dual fishtails, I ended up going to a PCIII dyno tuner and paid for a custom map. Its been soo long but I believe the tuner was in Brea or Anaheim Hills CA. Call around or look on line for local tuner to tweek your scoot.
