Default Fork seals leaking in hot weather

Had new fork tubes & seals put in last fall. Have ridden about 4,000 miles since. On some of these 100 deg+ days we've had this summer, I am beginning to notice fork oil running down both legs, usually when it's very hot. Don't notice it when the temps are moderate. I have an appointment to get it in and have the seals replaced, but the mechanic says it's a hot weather thing, and he's seen a lot of it this year. I've had a lot of bikes, and never had this problem before. When I first got it back after he installed the new tubes, I would feel the forks go rigid a few times. The seals were so tight, the fork would lock up until I hit the front brake or pumped it at a stop light to break it loose. It finally came out of that after a few hundred miles, but now they leak. Hope the new seals do better. (07 Heritage)
